Loox for Clothing Stores: Plans and Photo Review Setup

Loox collects and displays customer reviews, including photographs, on Shopify stores. For a first clothing store, decide whether you need a visual-review workflow, what the plan allows and how you will collect honest feedback. Customer photos can add context, but they do not replace garment measurements or prove that another shopper will get the same fit.

Start a Shopify trial when you are ready to build your store. Check the current offer and regular subscription terms. Reviews are an optional part of launch preparation; you can start with no customer reviews.

Loox pricing: total orders are different from monthly emails

On the date above, the official Loox App Store listing shows Beginner as free, Convert at US$49.99 per month with 300 orders included and US$50 per additional 300 orders, and Unlimited at US$299.99 per month. Check the current package and billing approval screen for your store before selecting a plan.

The Beginner plan documentation clarifies two limits: up to 2,000 review-request emails per month and 500 total store orders after the trial ends. The 500-order allowance is not a fresh monthly allowance. At that point the Beginner plan is no longer available.

Loox's quota documentation explains that exceeding Beginner's email allowance pauses and queues requests, with a 30-day limit after their original scheduled time. Check the account's usage and cycle dates rather than counting submitted reviews as orders.

Photo reviews are included in Beginner; the Convert comparison places video reviews, AI translations and other advanced features on Convert. A multilingual collection/display feature is not the same as automatic translation of every review. Test the exact languages and features your chosen plan supports.

Our suggested plan record includes the feature you need, current charge, order definition, email allowance, cycle date and upgrade conditions. Compare the Judge.me guide and Yotpo guide using the same questions. The right starting point depends on your needs and budget, not a promise of higher sales.

Add Loox to the correct product template

Review the app's permissions and plan using our App Store installation guide. Then follow Loox's Reviews Widget instructions for your theme.

  1. Choose the template: open the Shopify theme editor and select the product page template you intend to use.
  2. Add the widget: use Add section → Reviews Widget, place its app block, and save. Follow the theme-specific instructions if that option is unavailable.
  3. Check the review type: inspect whether the block displays product reviews, store reviews or both. Keep the distinction clear on a garment page.
  4. Inspect the live page: check placement, review count and product association on phone and desktop. Repeat for other product templates.

Loox documents sample reviews inside the theme editor that do not appear on live pages. Treat these as preview content, not your customer evidence. Inspect the actual storefront's empty state. Do not invent reviews, photographs or purchase counts to make a new store appear established.

Prepare product-specific measurement charts with units, fabric and care information where documented, clear policies and a working contact route. A review widget does not correct missing product information or certify garment quality.

Ask after delivery and time to try the garment

Loox's request-timing instructions use Collect Reviews → Emails and scheduling. Available triggers include purchase, fulfillment and delivery. The documented default is 14 days after fulfillment; do not assume that delay suits every clothing shipment.

  1. Check processing and transit information for the product and destination, then allow time for the customer to try it.
  2. Choose the trigger and delay supported by your tracking workflow. Delivery-based requests need an order marked delivered; fulfillment alone does not establish receipt.
  3. If separating domestic and international schedules, review the available triggers. Loox documents purchase and fulfillment triggers for that split; do not assume delivery timing remains available in the same configuration.
  4. Inspect request and reminder settings before enabling them. The documented Never setting pauses requests and reminders while you prepare the flow.

Use Loox's email-status guidance to distinguish waiting for fulfillment, waiting for delivery, scheduled requests and sent requests. A sent email is not a submitted review or proof of receipt.

If considering Trendsi account options, first follow the connection guide and supplier evaluation guide. Confirm the specific item's route and tracking data. Loox does not establish consistent sizing, fast shipping or supplier reliability.

Make photo feedback useful and optional

This is sample request wording, not feedback we have collected: “How did this garment compare with its description and measurement chart? If you would like, add a photo showing the fit or fabric. Please leave an honest review, including anything that did not meet your expectations.”

Make photographs and personal measurements optional. A close-up of fabric can be useful without showing a face or body. Do not request a customer's weight or personal dimensions as a condition of submitting feedback.

Check permission before using a review image in advertising or another marketing channel. Keep the original product, size, review date and context attached to it. One shopper's fit experience does not guarantee fit for someone else; keep your measurement chart accessible beside the reviews.

Photo-review discounts are optional and have a cost

Loox's discount instructions support a future-purchase reward for adding photo/video content. Before enabling it, check the discount's amount, minimum spend, expiry and combination behavior. You can collect honest feedback without offering a discount.

For US-facing reviews, the FTC's review-rule guidance says incentives must not require a particular positive or negative sentiment, and undisclosed incentives can be deceptive. Keep any reward independent of the rating and clearly disclose it. Check the applicable rules and platform policies for your customer market before running an incentive program.

Fictional budget exercise: suppose a future order is US$50 and your recorded costs before discount are US$38. A 10% discount removes US$5, leaving US$7 before any costs excluded from that record. This is arithmetic for planning, not a Loox result, profit forecast or recommended discount. Include payment fees, shipping, refunds and app charges in your own record.

Our suggested decision is to check whether the reward fits your actual margins and whether you can explain it clearly to shoppers. Review collection is not a reason to hide the cost of the next order or imply a review must be favorable.

Imported, verified and rewarded reviews need clear labels

Loox's transparency documentation distinguishes automatic request verification from store-owner verification and imported sources. Manually marking an imported review verified requires a reasonable basis to establish the purchase. It also documents public disclosure options and a Rewarded badge for eligible photo/video incentives.

Preserve the original source, product identity, permission and available purchase evidence when migrating genuine reviews. Do not import another seller's delivery feedback as praise for your new store. Check the public labels on the live widget; an internal tag alone does not tell shoppers how feedback was collected.

Our moderation recommendation is to publish valid feedback regardless of rating, handle spam or private information consistently and respond to complaints through a clear contact route. Do not pressure a customer to change a rating before resolving their issue.

Five checks before live requests

  1. Allowance: record the total-order and monthly-email limits separately, along with the actual charge and cycle date.
  2. Display: inspect product association, review type, empty state and duplicate badges on phone and desktop. Check that the widget does not obstruct size selectors or purchase controls.
  3. Timing: inspect the trigger, delay, reminder settings and queue. Verify what happens when delivery data is missing before relying on automatic requests.
  4. Transparency: check visible imported, verified and rewarded labels where relevant. If using a discount, inspect its rules and public explanation.
  5. Language and ownership: check widgets, messages and support in each intended language. Assign someone to review complaints and update inaccurate product details.

Save the date, device, language, expected behavior and actual result. Check your pages' performance with the widget enabled rather than assuming an app has no loading impact. These checks assess setup; they do not establish increased sales or reduced returns.

Google product rich results have their own requirements. Google's guidelines state that correct structured data does not guarantee display. Do not promise Google stars, higher rankings or AI-answer discovery from installing Loox.

Continue with the beginner clothing-store guide for the full launch sequence. If Loox does not meet your needs, use the uninstall guide to check billing, data and theme remnants before switching tools.

Loox questions for new clothing stores

Can a new clothing store launch without Loox reviews?

Yes. A new store may have no customer reviews yet. Provide accurate garment information, measurement charts, clear policies and a contact route. Do not invent feedback to fill an empty widget.

Is Loox Beginner's 500-order allowance monthly?

No. Loox's Beginner documentation describes 500 total store orders after the trial ends, separate from a monthly review-request email allowance. Confirm current eligibility and usage in your account.

Do I have to offer a discount to collect photo reviews?

No. You can request honest, optional photo feedback without a reward. If you choose a discount, check its cost and conditions and clearly disclose the incentive without requiring a positive rating.

Does a garment photo replace a measurement chart?

No. A photo can add context about one person's experience, but it does not establish fit for another shopper. Keep the product-specific measurement chart and units available.

Can I mark every imported Loox review as verified?

No. Loox requires a reasonable basis to establish the purchase when manually verifying imported reviews. Preserve the original source, product identity, permission and available evidence, and check the public disclosure.

Does installing Loox guarantee Google stars or higher sales?

No. Google's rich-result requirements are separate from a storefront widget, and correct markup does not guarantee display. App installation alone does not prove higher rankings, increased sales or fewer returns.
