Trendsi Review: Pricing, Shipping, Returns & Limitations

Published by: Fashion Dropshipping · Research method

Documentation checked 14 October 2026. This is a review of published terms, not firsthand product or delivery testing.

Is Trendsi suitable for your first clothing store? It is an option to compare if you want a supplier catalog connected to Shopify and can support the actual product, destination and return conditions. The main decision is whether a small collection works for your customer and budget.

Start with the decision checks below. If you already chose your supplier, follow the Trendsi and Shopify setup guide. If you are still choosing an idea, begin with how to start an online clothing store without inventory.

To understand the store model before reviewing one supplier, read our fashion dropshipping essentials, then return here to check Trendsi's terms.

A quick decision for a beginner boutique

Match the supplier to your store idea
QuestionWhat a workable answer looks like
Does the collection serve one customer? You can explain why the selected garments belong together.
Can the products reach your buyer?Destination eligibility and a current delivery quote are checked for the actual products.
Can you explain fit accurately?Garment measurements and material information answer likely buying questions.
Does an order leave enough money?Your price covers delivery, fees, returns, acquisition and allocated running costs.
Can you fund exceptions? You have a plan for unavailable stock, delayed orders and refunds.

If a critical answer is missing, keep the product in your research list. Compare other fashion suppliers instead of choosing a supplier solely because its account is free.

Trendsi pricing: membership is one part of the budget

On 14 October 2026, Trendsi’s plan page lists Free at $0 with up to 500 product listings and Pro at $29.90 per month with unlimited listings. Product orders and shipping are separate charges.

A beginner does not need hundreds of listings to build a clear offer. Review the free plan against the functions you need; add a paid tier when a named requirement justifies its bill. The Shopify app listing provides another place to check installation and billing details.

Illustrative order: $40 revenue − $16 product − $7 shipping − $2 fees − $3 return-cost allowance − $2 allocated other costs − $8 advertising = $2 remaining. These are invented inputs, not a Trendsi quote or a typical profit margin. The launch checklist calculator uses this same starting model.

Use the startup cost guide for regular subscriptions and the cash needed while customer payouts are pending. A return-cost allowance across orders and money available for a particular refund serve different purposes.

Want your own clothing label rather than a curated catalog store? Our clothing-brand model comparison separates catalog sourcing, printed designs, private label and original garments. Choose the route first; this review focuses on whether the catalog fits your store.

Choose clothing you can describe and maintain

For each shortlisted product, record the variant, current stock, materials, garment measurements, permitted images and delivered cost. Use an assortment organized around a customer need, rather than every available supplier category.

Catalog information cannot establish how fabric feels, how a size fits or how packaging arrives. We have not placed sample orders. If you are postponing them too, retain those questions as unverified and avoid claims about tested quality. The supplier worksheet helps keep documents and observations separate.

Maintaining listings remains part of your job. Trendsi’s automatic-update documentation describes new-variant updates and says existing names, photos, descriptions and prices are not automatically refreshed by that feature. Review supplier change notices and your live product pages.

Trendsi shipping: check the buyer’s destination

Trendsi’s shipping table currently lists US dropship estimates of 2–5 business days for US products and 5–10 for overseas products. These are supplier estimates for that route, not our measured results or a promise for every country. Charges vary with the order’s weight and destination.

Check one garment and a mixed basket before setting retail shipping charges. “Free shipping” means your store absorbs delivery costs; include them in the price or contribution calculation. Keep the supplier quote, your customer-facing rate and the delivery information consistent.

For a first US store, use the US market guide. For another destination, confirm product eligibility and the applicable current table before building a collection around it.

Trendsi returns: a supplier limit your store must plan around

The standard return policy covers eligible U.S. orders. It requires unworn items with original tags and the specified packaging/SKU label. Requests must begin within seven days of receiving all items; for split packages, the window starts with the final delivery. Items must be shipped back within seven days of the request. Shipping and handling are not refunded, exchanges are excluded, and listed categories are non-returnable. Non-U.S. orders are excluded from this return service.

The optional 30-day arrangement described by Trendsi is for U.S. customers who purchase SEEL or REDO coverage at checkout. It is separate from the standard supplier policy and uses a different return/refund process. Check the selected provider’s actual coverage before advertising it; do not apply it to every order or destination.

Your store needs a process customers can follow and money to fund refunds that a supplier or coverage provider does not reimburse. Decide who answers requests, where eligible items go and what you do when supplier reimbursement is unavailable.

Worked example: a customer refund is not the supplier reimbursement

Fictional USD assumptions, not a Trendsi order or a typical loss. A shopper paid $40 for one garment. You paid $16 for the product, $7 for supplier shipping, $2 in payment fees and $8 in advertising. Assume you refund the full $40, pay $5 for return postage, and eventually receive a $16 product reimbursement from the supplier.

For this exercise, assume the payment fee and advertising cost are not recovered. Actual payment-provider terms, return eligibility and who pays postage can differ. The supplier reimbursement is an assumption that you must verify, not an entitlement established by this example.

Scroll sideways on a small screen. Keyboard users can focus the table region and use the arrow keys.

$40 − $16 − $7 − $2 − $8 − $40 − $5 + $16 = −$22. With no supplier product reimbursement, the same assumptions give −$38. Neither amount is a measured result or a forecast of how often returns will occur.

The earlier $3 per-order return allowance is a planning provision across orders. Do not add it as another payment in this single-refund record. Likewise, a cost allocated across orders is not automatically a new cash payment. If your recorded customer receipt is already after payment fees, do not deduct the same fee twice.

In Trendsi’s standard return instructions, the supplier refund goes back to the original payment method and your store must refund the customer separately. If reimbursement arrives later, you still need funds for your customer’s refund. The supplier-payment cash planner (new tab) models supplier payments while customer payouts are pending; keep refund funding separate.

Before deciding, compare the quoted basket costs (new tab) and record the return address, exclusions and unrecovered costs in your supplier shortlist. A lower product price alone does not settle these questions.

How Shopify and Trendsi divide the order

The customer pays your store; supplier payment is separate. Trendsi’s order documentation says accounts default to manual checkout. An unpaid order does not reserve inventory, and fulfillment begins after supplier payment. Auto Checkout is an optional setting to review, not proof that every exception is handled.

Plan who checks unpaid orders, payment failures and stock problems. Avoid treating a payment notification in Shopify as confirmation that the supplier has been paid or shipped the parcel. The Trendsi Shopify integration connects the systems; you still manage customer support.

Use the supplier-payment step in our setup guide before accepting orders.

Use the first-order rehearsal to record the expected checkout, supplier-payment and tracking handoffs before accepting orders. You can review the documentation without buying samples. A simulated payment does not verify physical fulfillment or an actual supplier reimbursement.

Choose your next step

  1. Keep a small shortlist that fits your customer and checked destination.
  2. Replace illustrative calculator inputs with actual quotes and your assumptions.
  3. Review return limitations and available cash.
  4. If the supplier fits, connect it and review the store’s order workflow.

Frequently asked questions

Is Trendsi free for a beginner Shopify store?

The published Free membership supports up to 500 product listings. Products and shipping are paid separately; your store also needs to cover platform bills, fees and refunds.

Do I need Trendsi Pro to start?

Compare your planned collection and required functions with the current Free plan. Pro is listed at $29.90 per month on 14 October 2026. Upgrade for a specific need you can budget for.

Can I sell Trendsi products outside the US?

Selected destinations are supported, but eligibility and delivery depend on the actual product and route. The standard supplier return service currently excludes non-US orders.

Does a paid Shopify order mean Trendsi has been paid?

No. Customer payment and supplier payment are separate. Review the manual or automatic checkout workflow and confirm the supplier order’s payment and fulfillment status.

Does a standard Trendsi return automatically refund my customer?

Under Trendsi’s standard return instructions, the supplier refund goes to the original payment method and your store must refund the customer separately. Optional return coverage can use a different process; check the chosen provider’s terms.

Have you tested Trendsi clothing or delivery?

No. This review uses published documentation. Fit, fabric, packaging and actual delivery remain unverified by us.
